Transportation of Dangerous Fossil Fuel

We are giving a huge pass for the great expansion of unsafe fossil fuel transportation with pipelines, trains, ships, and trucks. For pipeline leaks alone see List of pipeline accidents in the United States in the 21st century.

In addition to oil and coal, there is also no agreed upon way to transport nuclear waste and it must remain close to the nuclear power facility as it has for decades. Even more than transportation, the problem is we are not leaving fossil fuels and dirty Tar Sands oil in the ground in the first place.

The reason we have over 170 continuously updated references in the below articles covering many years is to show this has been going on for decades.
