NPA News
The New Progressive Alliance is a 100-percent volunteer, educational organization dedicated to positively influencing public policy. Toward that end, we support the Unified Platform; participate in official public comment opportunities to regulatory agencies; and help people and organizations make their progressive case with Make your Case by using documentation which is continuously updated.
1. News is a list of our activities for the last three months.
2. United Nations links articles showing our involvement with the United Nations and how you can be involved as well.

1. News:
Publishing here means showing a reference to an article. We publish in Facebook at the New Progressive Alliance, Leftist Third Party and Independent Candidates, Greens Discuss the Issues, Truth Bomb Activists, Washington Best Democracy, and "Progressives, Real Greens, and Socialists of Colorado." Because of problems with privacy and censorship on Facebook, we also publish on X, formerly Twitter, under the New Progressive Alliance. Connections to all of our allies may be found here.
- In January 2025 we published the New Progressive Alliance 2024 annual report.
-
In December 2024 we published a video showing how Australia has taken a step away from the two party system with preferential voting.
-
In December we published “Elon Saved Free Speech.” It is amazing that many either do not believe or see nothing wrong with the DOJ, CIA, and FBI dictating to news agencies what to print and what to censor.
-
In December we published the New Progressive Alliance article “The War on Whistleblowers” with over 590 references.
-
In November we published “Honest Government Ad | Visit Myanmar!” This reference shows we have a long way to go on both civil rights and war.
-
In November we published “America adds battery equivalent of 20 nuclear reactors in less than 4 years” and the New Progressive Alliance article “We can power with renewable energy right now” with over 450 references. These two references show how easy it is to transfer to sustainable energy and save both money and lives.
-
In November we published the New Progressive Alliance article “Continuous Wars” with over 1,300 references.
- In November we changed the website to focus on our present mission of information outreach since we - despite our best efforts - were not able to make progress on elections or people movements.
-
In November 2024 we published “After the Election” which sent a message aimed at uniting. No matter who wins the election, the United States will survive. Let us continue to do our duties.
2. United Nations:
United Nations: The New Progressive Alliance has been in special consultative status with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) Council since 2015. The NPA is a U.N. NGO (Non-Governmental Organization). If you would like to investigate participating with the New Progressive Alliance in UN activities with meetings or submitting papers, then just email us. Candidates Who Support the Unified Platform
In 2012, the New Progressive Alliance (NPA) started by endorsing 54 candidates from 23 states who publicly endorsed and pledged to work for the commonsense policies outlined in the Unified Platform (UP). This page provides more information about the brave men and women who are blazing the trail for the future of democracy in America. If you would like to join them check Elections and So You Want to Run for Office. That trail is wholly different than that which the Democratic and Republican parties take us down election after election, with the same predictable result: A disenfranchised working class and ever-more enriched military-industrial-Wall Street complex.
We are a 501c4 educational organization, not a political party. We cannot help a candidate directly, but we can note by endorsement when a candidate pledges to support the Unified Platform. We can also disavow a candidate when through his actions or statements it becomes clear he does not support the Unified Platform.
Also as a 501c4 educational organization, we are moving towards becoming more of a think tank which supplies documentation to support people and organizations that back the Unified Platform. We will still list candidates that support the Unified Platform, but we will not seek them out.
