We have a crisis in this country confronting working class families - one that politicians and the media refuse to acknowledge.

It's the "cost-of-living crisis."

In all the millions of words in thousands of newspapers in which stories have been published about the Minimum Wage issue now confronting the country, not once have I read where one single Democrat or Republican has acknowledged the "cost-of-living crisis" - a crisis confronting every single working-class family on a daily basis. 

How is it possible for these politicians to be so out of touch with this reality of life for so many millions of people right here in our own country?
