• Publishing in social media means publishing a reference in Facebook at Colorado Best Democracy, Greens Discuss the Issues, Leftist Third Party and Independent Candidates, New Progressive Alliance;  Progressives, Real Greens, and Socialists of Colorado; and Truth Bomb Activists. On Facebook we run the sites at New Progressive Alliance plus Leftist Third Party and Independent Candidates. Because of problems with privacy and censorship on Facebook, we also publish on Twitter under New Progressive Alliance.

• In January 2024 we published our NPA article “Education” with over 950 references. A decline in public education and making higher education largely unaffordable except to those willing to become indentured servants for most of their lives means we are becoming more and more like a third world country. The very idea of fully funded public education has been declining for some time. Charter schools are being used as a weapon to defund public schools. This will have a calamitous effect on our future if not reversed. The article “Education” has over 950  

·         In January we published “Direct Air Capture: Big Oil’s Latest Smokescreen.” This is another fossil fuel lie.

·         In January we published “How the states have become "Laboratories of Autocracy" — and why it's worse than you think.” Our country is not as democratic as many think.

·         In January we published “Fossil fuels ‘become obsolete’ as solar & battery prices hit tipping point.” Sustainable energy is possible right now.

·         In January we published “As the World Burns, A Cowardly News Media Endangers US Democracy” and the NPA article “Corrupt Media” with over 895 references. These two articles show that though a democratic republic demands a free press to function properly, there has been an alarming decline in this area.

·         In January we published the YouTube video “Millions of liters of oil leaking into the Gulf of Mexico and no-one knows why...” and the NPA article “Transportation of Dangerous Fossil Fuel” with over 185 references. These two show this is a continuous problem.

·         In January we published “How oil and Gas Revenues Fund Wars and Violate Human Rights.” Much more than just pollution is at stake.

·         The New Progressive Alliance stopped publishing on the Facebook page “People, Planet, and Peace” because it censored us.

·         In January we published “FCC Latest in Long List of Federal Agencies Targeting Elon Musk.” and “NHTSA Targets Tesla in "SAFETY" Recall!” It is disturbing that Biden has weaponized the U.S. government against Elon Musk. Examples: Federal Communication Commission, National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Justice, Security and Exchange Commission, Federal Aviation Administration. 

·         In January we published the short video “Honest Government Ad | Visit the UK! “It seems that in Australia, Canada, the United States, and the UK there are all two main parties: Shit and Shit-Lite called by different names.

·         In February we published our NPA article on the environment which is continuously updated.  Future generations will correctly regard the environment as the most important issue we faced. This article has over 2,500 references collected over the years and is being continually updated. It shows the science is settled and covers 21 different environmental aspects. 

• In February we published “Tony Seba's 10 NEW energy & EV predictions are blowing up the internet” and the New Progressive Alliance article “We can power with renewable energy right now” with over 415 references. There are no technical, scientific, or financial obstacles to going with 100% sustainable energy.

• In February we published “The Democratic Party’s Crucifixion of Matt Taibbi - Extensive government blacklists, revealed by the Twitter Files, are used to censor left-wing and right-wing critics. This censorship apparatus has been turned on the reporter who exposed them.” Prior to Elon taking over, Twitter was used by the government to censor. This is documented by the Twitter Files and my personal experience with the New Progressive Alliance. In addition child pornography was rampant before Musk took over. The New Progressive Alliance experience is that Twitter, though still imperfect, has improved since Elon Musk purchased it. There remains censorship against anything opposing the status quo at Facebook and YouTube.

• In February we published “The US is flushing enough energy to power 30 million homes down the drain.” There are many solutions to sustainable energy.

·         In February we published “EPA Admits: Oops, Coal Ash Is More Toxic & Carcinogenic Than We Thought.” Future generations will be very unforgiving.

• In February we published “Renewables will overtake coal as largest global electricity source in 1 year.” There is hope for our future.

• In February we published “Canadian tar sands pollution is up to 6,300% higher than reported, study finds - Call for companies to ‘clean up their mess’ as Athabasca oil sands emissions vastly exceed industry-reported levels” and the New Progressive Alliance article “Fossil Fuel Companies Lie” with almost 150 references. These two sources show fossil fuel companies continue to lie.

• In February we published “Why Haiti is Dying & the DR is Booming” and a reference to “EarthSpark” which helps Haiti with renewable energy. Haiti is a good example of foreign policy gone wrong.

• In March we published our NPA article on election reform with over 650 references. In March we published “Elon Musk's Unbelievably Simple Killer Break Down on Climate Change.” This is a good summary.

• In March we published “One of the world's biggest mining companies say Carbon Capture is a SCAM.” Fossil fuel interests use the media to lie and distract.

• In March we published the New Progressive Alliance article “Cost of Environmental Destruction” and “Experts reveal traffic pollution drastically increases risk of severe Alzheimer’s.” These two articles document the effects of pollution.

• In March we published the YouTube video by Honest Government Ads “A message to whistleblowers.” The prosecution of whistleblowers in many countries threatens democracy.

• In March we published “Climate Change Linked to 5 Million Deaths a Year, New Study Shows - Almost 10% of global deaths can be attributed to abnormally hot or cold temperatures, according to new research linking extreme weather to mortality.” We are paying a price for pollution right now.

• In April we published the New Progressive Alliance article “Healthcare” with over 350 references. We pay more than any other industrialized country but have the least to show for it both in terms of health and coverage.

• In April we published “The False Promise of Carbon Capture as a Climate Solution - Fossil-fuel companies use captured carbon dioxide to extract more fossil fuels, leading to a net increase in atmospheric CO2.” Fossil fuel companies continue to distract and deceive.

• In April we published “Coastal US cities are sinking as sea levels continue to rise, new research shows.” Danger signs continue to show.

• In April we published “African country with 97% renewable energy decides to ban combustion cars.” There is a path forward for all countries.

• In April we published “10 countries in Europe will completely stop burning fossil fuels before 2035.” Progress is being made.

• In April we published “New study shows climate change is already affecting food prices.” Climate change is bringing far more pain than higher food prices.

• In May we published our NPA article on our crumbling infrastructure with over 115 references. The basis for our economy and prosperity is our infrastructure. The tragedy of our declining educational system, internet, power grid, roads, and bridges will take years to correct and we are already far behind other countries.

• In May because of inactivity or promoting fossil fuel falsehoods, the New Progressive Alliance stopped posting in “People, Planet, and Peace,” California Best Democracy, Oregon Best Democracy, and Washington Best Democracy.

• In May we published YouTube video "The Politics of Cultural Despair" by Chris Hedges. In this talk he examines the cultural and social forces that have given rise to extremism in the United States. He explores the myriad of factors that led to the proliferation of neo-fascist militias, extremist organizations, demagogic leaders, vast social divides defined by hate, a hyper nationalism and virulent racism as well as a mass media that has descended into burlesque and fans the flames of social disintegration.

• In May we published the video “The Greatest Evil is War” by Chris Hedges and the New Progressive Alliance article “Continuous Wars” with over 1,300 references. These two articles show continuous war is expensive in both lives and money lost.

• In May we published “Only 57 companies are responsible for 80% of the world's emissions.” Future generations may be very unforgiving.

• In May we published the YouTube video “If We Burn - The limits of mass protest with Vincent Bevins on “The Chris Hedges Report.” What does it take for real change?

• The 2010s were a decade of revolt. From Athens to Atlanta, Santiago to Seoul, a global wave of protest brought masses of people into confrontation with the status quo, demanding an end to neoliberalism, racism, climate change, and more. Yet despite this upswell of grassroots political activity, little lasting, positive change followed. What sparked the past decade of mass protest? Why didn't it result in political transformation? • In May we published “California EV adoption driving down emissions and improving air quality.” Progress is being made and there is room for hope and action.

·         In May we published “Technology denial: Columbia Law School debunks 33 biggest myths about solar, wind and EVs.”  There is a massive well financed campaign spreading falsehoods about sustainable energy.

• In June we published a New Progressive Alliance article which describes the decline of labor over decades thanks to the policies of both parties. It has over 80 references.

• In June we published “8 countries now generate over 99% of their electricity from renewable energy.” There is progress and there is hope.

• In June we published “The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is nearly 3 times the size of Texas.” We should not continue delaying action.

• In June we published “Crews continue to clean up fiery train derailment near Arizona-New Mexico border” and the New Progressive Alliance article “Transportation of Dangerous Fossil Fuel” with over 175 references. Fossil fuels are dangerous not just in mining and burning but also in transportation.

• In June we published “Honest Government Ad | How to rig our laws (EPBC Act)” Unfortunately greenwashing extends far beyond Australia.

• In June we published the TED talk “How the US Is Destroying Young People’s Future” by |Scott Galloway. These are well documented troubling trends.

• In June we published the YouTube video “The System: Who Rigged It, How We Fix It” by Robert Reich. We need to look at and address the long term trends of the past few decades.

• In June we published “4 false solutions that won’t solve the plastic pollution crisis” and the New Progressive Alliance article “Plastics Are Bad” with many references. These two articles show the danger and harm of plastic pollution.

• In July we published the Honest Government Ad” warning of the dangers to democracies throughout the world. Italy’s Benito Mussolini and the US’s Franklin Delano Roosevelt both defined fascism as companies controlling the government. Frequently dictatorships rise when the people are frustrated with weak and ineffective democracies. This short video gives a warning of the dangers to democracies throughout the world.

-X (formerly Twitter) is a free speech platform, not a news reporting company.

-The mission of X is to preserve free speech.  If governments censor X then the fault is on the government censoring. X will still publish in the maximum extent possible in each country it is able.

-While some speech may indeed be harmful, to censor speech makes it easier for governments and companies to have undue influence.

• In July we published a New Progressive Alliance article to help people and organizations make their progressive case by using documentation which is continuously updated.

• In July we published “All In Podcast.” Redefining what a recession is, pretending interest rates do not affect the consumer, and inaccurately measuring inflation do not make for a good economy. We are not in as good a shape as Biden claims.

• In July we published the YouTube video “Global clean energy investment to hit $2 trillion in 2024, smashing fossil fuels.” There is a rational case for optimism.

• In July we published “In 2014 Tony Seba said Nuclear would be obsolete by 2030 - he was right.” Those advocating nuclear power say it is quick, easy, and cheap. I am 71 years old and have heard this for over 50 years. Promises of small modular nuclear reactors and fusion reactors are more of the same.

• In July we published the YouTube video “How a small change could double the size of the U.S. electricity grid.” All countries will need much more energy to handle data centers which are needed to be competitive. The United States needs to start upgrading its diminishing grid and emphasizing renewable energy now.

• In August we published the New Progressive Alliance article “Corrupt Media” which describes the dramatic decrease in both the power and effectiveness of the public media. It has over 900 references.

• In August we published “New research uncovers troubling 'triple threat' facing the world's oceans: 'The impacts of this have already been seen and felt” and the New Progressive Alliance article ““Danger to Our Oceans” with over 115 references. These two references show the increasing danger to our oceans which we depend upon.

• In August we published the NPA article “Cost of Environmental Destruction” with over 275 references and “Peering Inside the Pandora’s Box of Oil and Gas Waste.” There is a cost both monetarily and to humanity for environmental destruction.

• In August we made Public Comment 246 in which we urged the FAA to approve SpaceX’s increased cadence for launches and landings at Boca Chica. The three reasons for approval are satisfied safety issues, national security concerns, and no negative environmental impact.

• In August we published “Rights Groups Demand Governments Protect Exiled Journalists, Dissidents” and the New Progressive Alliance article “The War on Whistleblowers” with over 590 references. We need to evaluate who our real heroes are. We need to acknowledge those who reveal a crime are not worse criminals than those who commit a crime.

• In August we published “Fossil fuels fund study claiming EVs and green energy could kill 4,642 species” and the New Progressive Alliance article “Fossil Fuel Companies Lie” with over 115 references. These two references show fossil fuel companies continue to lie.

• In August we published “Stanford study casts doubt on carbon capture.” Fossil fuel companies continue to lie and promote false solutions to distract.

• In September we published a New Progressive Alliance article which describes the dramatic increase in poverty over decades thanks to the policies of both parties. It has over 300 references.

• In September we published an interview with Chris Hedges in which he describes what is wrong with both candidates for President.

• In September we published “Honest Government Ad | Freedom of Information Laws.” Unfortunately the situation is very similar for whistleblowers and Freedom of Information Acts in the United States and United Kingdom as it is in Australia.

• In September we published “Democrats Weaponize Government Agencies Against Musk” and “Beware the Biden/Harris Administration.” These two references show if Trump wins in November it will be more a case of the democrats losing rather than the republicans winning.

• In September we published “Heat aggravated by carbon pollution killed 50,000 in Europe last year – study. Continent is warming at much faster rate than other parts of world, leading to fires, drought and health problems.” There is a real cost for delaying dealing with climate change.

Both these references show with many examples how fossil fuel companies and governments use distractions and false solutions to avoid dealing with the pressing problem of climate change.

• In September we published “Climate Scorecard Ratings by Country.” It will take a world wide effort to avoid widespread environmental and economic damage and loss of life.

• In September we published “E-Fuels: A Costly Distraction in the Race to Zero Emissions” and the New Progressive Alliance article “Environmental Distractions and False Solutions.” These two references show how the fossil fuel industry continues to mislead about false green solutions that only enrich fossil fuel companies.

• In October we published the New Progressive Alliance article “Diminishing Transparency” with over 135 references.

• In October we published “Jobs, Disinflation, Sahm Rule, Yield Curve Say Bidenomics Failing” and the New Progressive Alliance article “Beware the Biden/Harris Administration.” These two articles document the Biden/Harris administration has not been good for the environment, economy, or civil rights.

• In November we changed the website to focus on our present mission of information outreach since we - despite our best efforts - were not able to make progress on elections or people movements.
