This is not a troubling long term trend that will not end well.

It's only taken a decade, but intellectuals seem at last to have realized where the sticking point lies when it comes to getting Progressive policy enacted. It's not about "the system," as so-called "60s radicals" were so fond of complaining. (Today they're known as establishment Democrats.)

You can't make this stuff up. Candidates of the same party that criticizes Progressives for our (supposed) "purity tests" are refusing contributions from the most energizing member the Democratic caucus has ever--or likely ever will--see. A member whose uncompromising policy initiatives and refusal to bow to anyone who doesn't like them are the example the party has needed for... well, ever.

2020 Annual Report

Devon Downeysmith of Climate Solutions - an NPA ally - here writes showing there is hope for fighting climate change and "clean energy projects are unfolding on a massive scale -- oftentimes without federal mandates to support them and despite new tariffs and other roadblocks. These headlines demonstrated not only how renewables are beginning to dominate the electricity sector, but how human ingenuity is making clean energy projects unfold in innovative, unexpected ways."

The New Progressive Alliance periodically makes Public Comments by itself or with other organizations  in support of the Unified Platform. The Public Comments are often made to to federal agencies and legislative bodies in the United States and Canada. They are reproduced here in full and also briefly mentioned with our other activities in the Annual Reports and on our website under "News."  After Public Comment 231 we stopped automatically publishing all comments unless they were made by the New Progressive Alliance.

• The New Progressive Alliance (NPA) continued to expand our organizational outreach and is now allied with 53 active national and international organizations. All allies are listed with internet addresses on our website.
• By the end of 2019 we had a total of 223 Public Comments in support of our Unified Platform. All Public Comments in full are on our website.
• Publishing in social media means publishing a reference in Facebook at the New Progressive Alliance, Leftist Third Party and Independent Candidates, Green Party Discussion, and Truth Bomb Activists. Because of problems with privacy and censorship on Facebook, we also publish on Twitter, MeWe, and Ilkmade.
