So let me get this straight. The president used the democratic liberal platform as a bargaining chip and was gonna just lay it all on the table, no matter what the polls said. And the GOP said no to revenue increases, luckily for all of us, or programs would have been slashed. And now Ed Schultz is trying to tell me that the president had this clever strategy all along? Come on Ed! You can’t be that naive to believe he’s all of the sudden fighting for the middle class. Look more closely.

The argument about a third party splitting the vote so the republican wins is a strong one. I used to be one of those people who was angry with Ralph Nader for "splitting the vote" in 2000 and 2004. I remember a reporter asking him how he felt about those who said he split the vote and ruined the democrat's chances at winning the election. He said "The Democrats are responsible for losing their own election." (paraphrasing). At the time I rolled my eyes. But that was back when I had been asleep and bored with politics. I just grabbed the nearest dem talking point. I didn't look closely enough at the system itself.

One strategy of the so-called Liberal media is to elevate Michelle Bachman as a credible candidate. You may have noticed Chris Matthews and others attempting this. It doesn't hold water, but they will try anything just to make it easy for Obama to win re-election. To me this is un-American, un-patriotic and treasonous. As if our democratic system hasn't been undermined enough with the corporations owning our politicians.
